The International student orientation at the beginning of my freshman year is my most memorable Elon experience. During the three-day orientation, I got to meet and make friends from all around the world, shared my culture with others, and learned more about different cultures, nationalities, and overall diversity. I also had the opportunity to build a close connection with the Global Education Center, a hub of global activity at Elon, which has made Elon feel like home.
There is no other college that can give students attention as much as Elon does in the classroom. Professors at Elon really care about their students and want them to grow, not only have a deeper understanding of the subjects they learned but also how to be better people in our society. All my professors can remember and call my name after the first class naturally. I have always been encouraged and pushed by my professors to be the best I can be, both academically and personally. After two years at Elon, I would say that coming to Elon is the best decision I have ever made in my life.
Football games are always the place I found that shows Elon school spirit the most. Every year, the homecoming football game is my favorite Elon Tradition, where I had a wonderful experience and saw all my friends with their families wearing Elon apparel and standing on the benches together cheering for Elon. It is an excellent place for me to meet new friends by talking to neighbors who stand next to me. Additionally, homecoming football games are also a unique opportunity to bring our Elon community together and cheer with my fellow classmates.
