My most memorable Elon experience?

I think my favorite experience at Elon has been my Entrepreneurship class this semester: Design Thinking For Action. This is a very unusual class. So much so, that you actually need to apply in order to attend and it’s not offered on OnTrack. The class is designed in a way that allows students to begin their work on an entrepreneurial venture of their choice. Due to the nature of the course, I was expecting the class to be extremely competitive and tense. However, I was surprised to discover that it was completely opposite to my expectations! I have found that this class is a safe space for ideas, where every student is as excited and passionate about their project as they are about each other’s, and everyone seeks to build each other up and help ideate and innovate. In this class, I am happy to say I found a community of friends that embody what in my opinion are Elon’s student’s best attributes: leadership, empathy, innovation, perseverance, and camaraderie.
