I chose Elon because...

I chose Elon because it is a University that focuses on student experiences: research, internship, leadership, service, and study abroad. The smaller size allows peer/faculty mentorship and an interdisciplinary education which has been incredibly important to my experience.

My most memorable Elon experience?

My most memorable Elon Experience has been working in the Kernodle Center for Civic Life. I have an incredible group of friends here at Elon, but having the office space to build relationships with like-minded students I may have never naturally found is a unique opportunity that I cherish. Additionally, The Kernodle Center and Elon Volunteers! has given me countless mentors, leadership experiences, and introduced me to passions that will guide me in the future!

My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

My favorite Elon Tradition is SURF day or the Spring Undergraduate Research Forum. Each spring semester students have a day off from classes to attend SURF and view their peer's undergraduate research presentations. This is my favorite tradition because it celebrates Elon's focus on student led research, and has helped me in formulating my own research project.
