My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

My favorite Elon Tradition is college coffee, which is a time of free breakfast and coffee every Tuesday morning. It's a great way to start my day chatting with friends and professors before heading off to a full day of class and activities!

I chose Elon because...

I chose Elon because of the vibrant student body and sense of community amongst students and faculty. Elon students don't just coast through their college years - they take initiative, seek change, and develop their passions. Professors truly care about their students, challenging and guiding us as we pursue research and practical experiences in our fields. To put it in short: Elon students care - about the university, about each other, about the world.

My most memorable Elon experience?

My most memorable Elon experience was spending three months of the past summer researching the Village Health Team model in Uganda. I lived amongst the community and conducted interviews with the local health workers to grasp their understanding of patient rights. This was a research project supported by the Lumen Prize at Elon, and without it I wouldn't have been able to conduct research abroad.

I'm passionate about...

Community Development Education Equity Yoga Outdoors Social Justice
