My favorite Elon tradition is College Coffee because it’s a tradition that you don’t have to wait all year for. It happens the same time every week and because no classes are scheduled during that time, you’re always free to go. It’s always refreshing to come together with the Elon community and grab a cup of coffee.
My most memorable experience at Elon so far has been performing in the annual Elon Cares benefit concert in support of Broadway Cares and Equity Fights AIDS. Getting a chance to perform, despite not being a performing arts major, was a great experience.
I chose Elon because I wanted a liberal arts school that would challenge me intellectually and allow me to explore fields of study outside of my specific interests. I was attracted to the many opportunities for undergraduate research. Elon’s emphasis on study abroad and global engagement were also a large part of why I chose this school.
