My most memorable Elon experience?

My most memorable Elon experience has been my journey as an Elon Nursing Fellow. During my first clinical rotation, I remember walking into the hospital feeling both nervous and excited—realizing that this was the moment all my hard work had led to. It was incredible to finally put what I had learned in the classroom into practice, caring for real patients and collaborating with nurses who inspired me every day. That experience reminded me why I chose nursing in the first place and showed me how much Elon truly prepares us to lead with compassion, confidence, and purpose.

My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

My favorite Elon tradition is the Festival of Lights and Luminaries, hosted by the Truitt Center. Each December, the Elon community gathers to celebrate unity, reflection, and belonging as the campus glows with hundreds of luminaries. This event beautifully highlights the diversity of traditions, worldviews, and identities that make our community so special, reminding us of the shared joy that comes from learning about and honoring one another’s stories.

I chose Elon because...

I chose Elon because it was the first school that truly felt like home. Coming from a small town in New Jersey where few people had even heard of Elon, I saw that as an opportunity rather than an obstacle. I was eager for a fresh start and Elon gave me exactly that. Since arriving, I’ve become involved in so many different clubs and organizations that have shaped my experience and helped me grow. I just love it here. Elon is my Disney World. Every day feels full of excitement, warmth, and endless possibilities.
