My most memorable Elon experience?

My most memorable Elon experience was when the Center for Leadership sent me on NACA's Summer Leadership Event at Disney World. My first year at Elon, I was able to apply for additional leadership development opportunities and the Center for Leadership sent me to Florida so I could learn what leadership looked like at the "Happiest place on Earth". This wasn't an experience I planned on having when I applied to Elon but it was an amazing opportunity to connect with student leaders from across America.

My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

My favorite Elon Tradition is the final night of first year orientation. Amongst the nerves of your first day of classes, all the students are in Rhodes Stadium where we celebrate our upcoming journey through Elon together. I've been able to go as a first year and as an Orientation Leader and it continues to one of the most fun events of the year that people often bring up!

I chose Elon because...

I chose Elon because when I had 5 days in the States to choose my home for four years, Elon was the school that stood out for its community. When I arrived on campus for my tour, the admissions counselors were waiting to get to know me and made sure to reconnect when they were in Belgium. I loved the small campus feeling and the low student-to-faculty ratio that added to the personal connections you have when you're here.
