I chose Elon because...

My older sister graduated Elon in '07, which means my first time on campus was when I was just 6 years old! I vividly remember running around the fountain in front of Alamance, hoping that one day I could go there too. When it came time for my own college search, I visited many schools but none of them measured up to Elon's supportive and engaging environment.

My most memorable Elon experience?

My most memorable Elon experience happened the very first night I spent on campus. After a long and fun filled day of freshmen orientation, I accidentally invited three random classmates to Waffle House with me and my roommate. We ate waffles then talked and walked from Global all the way to Danieley. These three “random” classmates ended up becoming some of my three best friends I have here at Elon. I’ll never forget my first day away at college!

My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

My favorite tradition at Elon is the Festival of Holiday Lights. In the middle of December stress, studying for finals and finishing up challenging courses, the festival of holidays lights is such a wonderful reminder of what the holiday season is truly all about. I couldn’t imagine my college experience without it.
