I chose Elon because...

I chose Elon because it mixed together many of my interests. At Elon I am able to pursue an education at one of the few accredited communications schools in the country, as well as a one-of-a-kind outdoor education experience. Elon makes it possible for me to combine these two very different passions because of the emphasis on experiential learning, small class sizes and connections with mentors.

My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

One of my favorite Elon traditions is Late Night Elon. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Lakeside Dining Hall stays open until 2 A.M. I have so many fond memories of my friends and I announcing a craving of tomato soup and grilled cheese or pancakes and maple syrup late at night; Only to be devastated that all restaurants were closed. Then, someone would have the grand realization that Late Night was happening and we would all sprint over to Lakeside to sit in a booth eating yummy food and talking for hours.

My most memorable Elon experience?

One of my most memorable experiences at Elon was last spring when my intramural sports team decided to have a formal. We had such a fun season of playing that we wanted to end off the semester by getting dressed up and celebrating. There was even a rainbow! And that is how you know it is a good day.
