My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

My favorite Elon Tradition is the Convocation Ceremony because it was the first time I felt like I could truly call Elon home. During this ceremony, I learned about Elon's history and grew even more excited to start my college experience along with my classmates. I've held onto the acorn I received that day ever since!

My most memorable Elon experience?

Though I have not been at Elon for very long, my most memorable Elon experience was getting into my a cappella group, Twisted Measure. Being in this group is just one of the many examples of supportive communities I've become a part of at Elon. After my roommates (and even a few professors) cheered me on through the audition process and I was adopted into my new TM family, I knew there would always be someone that truly cared about me here.

I chose Elon because...

My older brother is also a phoenix, so Elon has held a special place in my heart since I first toured it my freshman year of high school. When applying to Elon, I knew I could feel at home while still managing to expand my horizons and be challenged. Though I have not been here for very long, I have already experienced the value of a liberal arts education firsthand. Intimate classroom settings have allowed for deep conversations and connections I know I could not have had anywhere else.
