My favorite Elon Tradition is the annual strawberry festival. It happens every year in May and it is a great way to celebrate community and our earth. It is also a wonderful opportunity for different student organizations to share projects they have been working on throughout the semester. Additionally, there are lots of different yummy strawberry treats!
I chose Elon because I knew I wanted to study social work and the human services studies major checked off all my boxes. Additionally, I was looking for a school that valued study abroad and small class sizes.
Thanks to opportunities provided to me through the Global Education Center at Elon I have been able to study abroad every year of college. Most recently I spent a semester abroad in Indonesia. This experience changed radically changed my life and its thanks to Elon's connections that I was able to experience this growth.
