My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

My favorite Elon tradition is how every student receives an acorn on convocation day to signify the start of their college career. Then when you graduate you receive an oak tree sapling to signify your growth over your time as an undergraduate. I love this tradition because the oak tree is such a strong symbol at Elon, so it makes me feel very connected to the Elon community.

I chose Elon because of the incredible academic, professional, and social opportunities that are made available to all students. I am a student who learns best in an interactive classroom environment where I feel comfortable asking questions. Elon is the perfect school for this because of the small class sizes and the amazing professors.

My most memorable Elon experience?

My most memorable Elon experience so far has been having my parents come for family weekend during the fall semester of 2021. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, my family was not allowed to explore campus or attend any events during my freshman year. I loved being able to show them all of the things that I love about Elon, and introduce them to the people that make this campus home.
