My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

My favorite Elon Tradition is New Student Convocation! This is a time where Elon pulls out all of the stops! All of the students and parents come and Elon Administrators and Faculty are in their academic regalia, and we look get to do many traditions like touch the bell, hear from the Presidents, and that’s when we get our acorns!

My most memorable Elon experience?

My most memorable Elon experience was my first SGA Meeting. I was a newly elected Senator, coming into my first meeting and it was extremely nerve racking. However, as soon as I came into the room the intimidating upperclassmen were extremely welcoming and embraced me with open arms. They were there to guide me and mentor me into a better leader than I was before. All of those folks are still my good friends and I still talk to even though they may have graduated.

I chose Elon because...

I chose Elon because of it’s experiential learning style. I absolutely LOVE experiential learning and being able to explore different ideas/subjects and examining the intersectionality of them. If there is something at Elon that you want to do, the university will give you the resources and power to accomplish it.
