I wanted to find a liberal arts community that was medium sized, supportive, and will help me grow. That is what Elon is! I feel supported in every way possible and Elon will help me grow and learn these next four years. The professor want you to succeed and you get to have amazing conversations and relationships with them. You are not just a number in a system but a students with goals and achievements.
My most memorable Elon experience is finding my community through my club softball team. We are able to travel and play different and school while becoming a family. Everyone cares so much for each other and we want all of us to strive. I'm so happy that I'm a part of this organization.
The luminaries! I love this tradition because it is a time for the Elon community to come together to share their experiences, and cultural differences. Every year during December, luminaries are set up all across the historic part of campus and family and friends can get their students or friend a luminary to celebrate their achievements at Elon. Clubs and organizations also set up tables about holidays that different religions and cultures celebrate. This allows the community to learn about a new tradition or feel represented within the community.
