I chose Elon because when I came to visit I really felt like the students here welcomed me and I saw an institution that was on a trajectory of growth. I wanted to be a part of that. It doesn't hurt that Elon is so beautiful either.
My most memorable Elon experience has been my time as a residential assistant. It has been an amazing experience to see how my residents have grown over the course of the year. It is also great to have a part in making someone's time at Elon enjoyable and impactful.
My favorite Elon tradition is the Intersect Conference. This is a diversity and leadership conference that happens every year at Elon. I like this tradition because it allows self exploration and the introduction of new perspectives and research on diversity and inclusion work.
