My favorite tradition at Elon is Luminaries! I was able to participate this past year, and not only was it a wonderful time to spend with my friends, but it also was such a great opportunity to learn and see all of the amazing programs we have on campus. Elon loves to celebrate all of its different cultures, and I felt like Luminaries really showcased that. Plus, who could go wrong with hot chocolate?
I chose Elon because it gave me the opportunity to have intensive training within the performing arts while also valuing the education I receive outside of those classes. At this University, I am encouraged to become a well-rounded scholar and am more than just another number. Plus, when I first stepped foot on campus, I felt immediately at home.
One of my most memorable Elon experiences was cram jam. This happens the night before finals week begins, and it was such a great time to just destress before maybe the most difficult time of the year. Essentially Mosely is turned into just a huge hang-out area with massage chairs, Karaoke, a make-your-own stuffed animal station, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. Plus, President Connie Book is giving out food at late night :)
