I chose Elon because...

I chose Elon mainly for our hands on experiences and the ability to customize your experience. As I always mention on tour, every course I have taken, even the liberal arts courses, have been tailored to my interests. This expands into organizations, events on campus and study abroad/USA as well. So many of the course have a hands on component that makes our learning not just hypothetical.

My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

My favorite Elon tradition (outside of the more common ones like College Coffee) is Campus Recreation's Battle Ship. Battle Ship happens in the spring semester in Elon's pool. Teams of three get in canoes and dump buckets of water into other canoes. Last canoe still floating wins. I have done it every year with the same two teammates. It is so much fun and a really unique campus event.

My most memorable Elon experience?

My most memorable Elon experience was the fall 2016 Elon Tonight premiere. Elon Tonight is the sketch comedy show I lead. Each semester the organization releases a 30-minute episode. For the grand opening of the Turner Theatre, Elon Tonight had a big red carpet event where we partnered with ETalk (Elon's entertainment talk show) for red carpet interviews. So many people came, both friends and professors, that we maxed capacity and had to have a second screening for 50 more members of the community. It was incredible seeing so many people come out to watch our hard work.
