Fall '25 and Tour Guide at Elon University
Class of 2028
Hometown: Greenville, SC
Major: History
Mardi Gras has to be my favorite Elon tradition. As someone who's family comes from the low country of South Carolina seafood is always a pleasure and Mardi Gras has everything you can think of: Crawfish, crab legs, oysters, and fish of all kinds. More importantly is being able to be with my friends and share the experience together.
Academically there is so many opportunities to talk with your professors and learn deeply about what interests you in you subject, along with the smaller class sizes, it make the entire academic journey a personalized one. Beside academics, the communities here at Elon are some the best I have ever found, I constantly find myself involved with things on campus and meeting new people.
My most memorable experience here at Elon was when I was walking the Luminaries with all my friends. The weather was freezing but a cup of hot cider, lovely singing, and merriment just warmed my spirit. Just knowing I was involved in this huge community was so enriching.
