My favorite Elon Tradition is College Coffee, where students, faculty, and professors gather every Tuesday morning for coffee and pastries! It’s a great event that brings Elon’s community closer together, by meeting new people and talking to professors outside of the classroom.
My most memorable Elon experience was studying this past fall in Stockholm, Sweden. I spent four months traveling all through Europe while taking classes in my favorite subjects. I was prepared to embark on this journey of traveling and learning through the support my faculty mentors, that motivated me to go abroad and experience Scandinavian culture.
I chose Elon because I wanted to develop enriching faculty-student relationships, with mentors that would invest in my learning and guide me through my academic career. I also loved Elon’s culture of acceptance of people from various backgrounds, which made me feel included and right at home.
