My favorite Elon Tradition is College Coffee because it give students like myself an opportunity to engage with professors and staff members outside of the classroom. It helps students get to know the staff of the university on a personal level, and helps lessen the anxiety and worry around building connections with the staff of the university.
My most memorable experience so far at Elon has been Move-in days and Orientation week. I am currently a Residential Assistant, so watching my residents and the students in my neighborhood and beyond go from shy and reserved to open and excited has been so amazing to see!
I chose Elon because they made me feel sought after and wanted during the college process. I can say without a doubt that Elon University was the only college that made me want to be there. In the many times I visited, everyone was extremely kind and welcome, and they made a point to get to know me and make me feel as though they want me at their university. And even to this day, the Elon faculty and general student body never fails to make me be welcomed and valued.
