My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

New Student Convocation where we reflect on the start of our new college experience and receive an acorn. When we graduate, we get an oak sapling. I love the symbolism and the opportunity for reflection, it’s such a special way to start and close the college experience.

My most memorable Elon experience?

Playing with the Fire of the Carolinas at my first home football game was my favorite Elon memory — the energy, the music, and being surrounded by my friends made it so special.

I chose Elon because it has such a close-knit, family-like community, both with students and with professors. The campus is beautiful, and it instantly felt like home.
