My most memorable Elon experience so far has been the Lights and Luminaries festival. Walking around with my friends before Winter Break, and admiring all of the beautiful lights hanging around campus, as well as the luminaries with our names on them, was truly a special moment. It was memorable and something I will never forget.
I chose Elon because of the opportunity that I saw I could have. After going through the application process, and touring Elon itself, I realized the potential I could have as an Elon student. I realized I could not only achieve great things academically, but I could also grow as a person. Truthfully, after touring, I saw Elon as the place I could call home for the next four years.
Personally, my favorite Elon Tradition is convocation because I think it is so special to Elon. It truly encompasses everything that Elon stands for. Convocation, under the oaks, is about tradition, values, and family, and quite simply that is what makes Elon so special. It is an event I will truly hold close to my heart because it was the day I truly became a member of the Elon family.
