My most memorable Elon experience?

My most memorable experience was the first time I was ever published in The Pendulum. Seeing my name in print for the first time was incredibly humbling, and getting to share it with my friends and family was even better!

I chose Elon because...

I chose Elon because from the very beginning it has felt like home. I remember turning to my Mom after my first tour and telling her that I was sold: from the small class sizes to the amazing School of Communications, I was blown away by everything that Elon had to offer. However, I 'kept my options open' and applied to a lot of schools, with Elon being my secret favorite. When I came to Rising Phoenix weekend in the spring of my senior year, I walked around the campus and felt a sense of belonging, something that I hadn't felt anywhere else. That was when I decided that Elon was going to be my home for the next four years!

My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

My favorite Elon Tradition is the Holiday Lights celebration held every year in December. I have fond memories of the campus lit up by lights and luminaries, walking with my friends and getting into the holiday spirit. Everyone is so cheerful, and even community members come out to celebrate!
