My favorite Elon Tradition is College Coffee, a weekly event where students and teachers have 40 minutes of no classes so that they are free to grab a cup of coffee or a muffin with their peers and coworkers. This is my favorite tradition because it has helped me to build relationships with friends and professors!
My most memorable Elon experience is having a picnic with all of my best friends right next to Lake Mary Nell. A duck came up to us and said hello while we snacked on cupcakes from Lakeside Dining Hall. My best friends and I listened to Noah Kahan, talked about our favorite classes, and painted pumpkins on our picnic blanket. I felt like I was living in a Hallmark movie!
I chose Elon because I wanted a school where leadership opportunities would be everywhere, community service would be strongly encouraged and easily accessible, and mentorship would be at the forefront of everybody's minds.
