My favorite Elon Tradition is .... Because...

My favorite Elon Tradition is New Student Convocation, where students are together welcomed to the Elon community and four years of adventures, exploration, and growth. At the end of convocation students receive an acorn and then an oak sapling at graduation, symbolic of our journey and growth at Elon.

My most memorable Elon experience?

My most memorable Elon experiences have been rehearsing and performing in the dance program concerts. One of my favorite performances has been Dancing in the Landscape, which occurs during family weekend each fall. I love getting to rehearse outside on our beautiful campus and share dance with the entire Elon community. Other memorable experiences have included welcoming my younger sister to campus this past year, my alternative fall break trip, and being a dance teaching assistant.

I chose Elon because...

I chose Elon because of its strong sense of community and its support for all of my interests. Elon gave me the opportunity to be a part of a strong performing arts department while pursuing a double major in communications. I also chose Elon for its multitude of opportunities through strong student to professor relationships, internships, leadership, and study abroad.
